Each nōz™ chain includes a 16g (1.2mm) surgical steel septum retainer, detailed installation instructions, and your chosen chain in sterling silver, 14k yellow gold or 14k rose gold.
Do I need a healed piercing?
Yes. nōz chains are intended for fully healed septum piercings only.
How does the nōz chain work?
The chain discreetly attaches to a hidden septum retainer, creating the appearance of a seamless, uninterrupted chain without any visible hardware.
Can I wear the chain with my existing jewelry?
Yes. Our chains can be customized to fit most 16g (1.2mm) and 14g (1.6mm) septum retainers or barbells. The chain is easily attached and removed allowing you to conceal the piercing when desired.
How do I choose the right size?
Your nōz™ chain is designed to sit close to the nose, similar to a septum ring with a subtle drape. We recommend choosing the size based on the diameter of a septum ring that fits you comfortably:
- Small (1/4") – best for shallow piercings
- Medium (5/16") – our most popular size
- Large (3/8") – ideal for deeper piercings
